Speak Out to Stop Line 5 for piping plovers

The over 70-year-old Line 5 crude oil pipeline runs along Lake Superior and trespasses across the reservation land of the Bad River Band of Lake Superior Chippewa. It’s a violation of Sovereign Tribal rights. Additionally, it threatens the drinking water and habitats for at-risk wildlife like the endangered piping plover.

A federal court ruled that Enbridge must remove Line 5 from the Bad River Band’s land, but now construction around a planned reroute continues to put the Bad River Band and Northern Wisconsin's people, wildlife, and clean water at risk.

Tell the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources to protect Lake Superior and the wildlife and people that rely on it by denying Enbridge the permits to complete the Line 5 reroute
