Pledge to Stay Informed and Support Wildlife in YOUR State

So many of our most imperiled wildlife and their habitats are in a downward spiral. Without dedicated policies, programs and funding, their survival hangs in the balance. States play a crucial role and have the ability to protect and recover native wildlife within their borders. And so do you!

Pledge to keep informed about and support protections for wildlife, lands, waters and air in your state.

Some areas we are focused on:

  • Making the case for protective requirements regarding data center development to safeguard wildlife habitat and provide full public disclosure and transparency for any data center proposals
  • Helping farmers and communities whose lands or waters have been contaminated by toxic “forever chemicals” (also known as per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances) from neighboring military or industrial sites
  • Highlighting the need for robust programs to safeguard wildlife and their habitats from mining, oil and gas, or other development on public lands and waters - including wildlife refuges and state parks
  • Promoting programs and science to sustain and increase native seed and plant supply to ensure a diverse supply of eco-regional appropriate, pesticide-free native plants
  • Limiting climate pollution from cars, power plants, and other industrial sites to keep carbon pollution out of the air
  • Making clear the stakes for restoring and protecting rivers, lakes, wetlands, and streams in {user_data~Region Long Format~your state} to safeguard declining and at-risk fish and wildlife populations, ensuring safe drinking water, and conserving vital wildlife habitat
