Protect our air, water, and wildlife from toxic pollution

Mercury and other toxic pollution are putting the health of people and wildlife at risk. Birds like common loons are exposed to large concentrations of mercury from the fish they eat, making them lethargic and less able to care for their young. Meanwhile in people, mercury and other hazardous air pollutants from power plants can cause a number of health effects from cancer to cardiovascular disease to developmental delays, birth defects, and miscarriages. Last year the government finalized much needed updates to regulations on mercury and other pollutants, but now those updates are at risk of being rescinded.

Send a comment to the Environmental Protection Agency urging them NOT to rollback regulations on mercury and other toxic pollution for the health of wildlife and communities.
