Don’t Let Louisiana’s Coast Flatline

Every day, we lose more wetlands—leaving our communities exposed, our jobs and infrastructure threatened, and our Sportsman’s Paradise slipping away. Our best hope? Restoring the natural power of the Mississippi River to rebuild land.

That’s exactly what the Mid-Barataria Sediment Diversion was designed to do. It’s Louisiana’s largest coastal restoration project, building more land than any other single habitat-building effort.

But now, Governor Jeff Landry wants to cancel it—pulling the plug on Louisiana’s largest and most critical coastal restoration project.

That means less hurricane protection, but more flood rise. It means less fish and wildlife from more habitat loss. This is a reckless move—and we can’t let it happen.

Tell Governor Landry: Don’t pull the plug on coastal Louisiana.
