Speak Out for Jaguars’ Amazon Habitat

Remaining forests in the Brazilian Amazon are at risk of being cleared and burned to make way for additional soy plantations. Tomorrow, the Brazilian soy industry will vote on whether they will weaken the provisions of the Amazon Soy Moratorium that is saving old-growth forests. This change will create loopholes that would threaten the habitat that jaguars and many other species depend on. There is absolutely no need to weaken an industry initiative that has been working so well by creating loopholes that could allow unnecessary destruction, and threaten even further the habitat of so many species and our climate. Please send a message today to industry leaders—before tomorrow’s crucial vote—to help safeguard wildlife habitat in the Amazon.
