Don’t Let Their Lights Go Out

The Bethany Beach firefly is a critically imperiled species found along the Delaware coast that is rapidly disappearing—and the first firefly to be proposed for the endangered species list. Their crucial wetland habitats are increasingly threatened by coastal development, rising sea levels, and pollution. The Recovering America’s Wildlife Act would give these beloved fireflies a lifeline by providing essential support for habitat conservation and restoration efforts, while benefiting all imperiled fireflies, butterflies, native bees, and other declining insects.

This historic wildlife legislation offers our best hope for addressing our nation’s wildlife crisis. Please urge your Congressional representatives to fully support and help pass the Recovering America’s Wildlife Act.
