Protect River Otters from Line 5

Playful river otters can be found swimming in waters across most states in the U.S., but have only returned to their natural range over the last few decades since their numbers had dwindled from centuries of trapping. While conservation efforts for river otters have been successful, water pollution and habitat destruction still threaten their survival—and the Line 5 oil pipeline threatens critical otter habitat in the Great Lakes.

Enbridge’s Line 5 has been trespassing for over a decade on the Bad River Band of Lake Superior’s Tribal lands, across the Bad River itself. An active court case could require Enbridge to remove Line 5 by June of 2026, if the Biden Administration files a briefing by April 8th upholding that decision.

Tell President Biden it is time for him to take action against “America’s Most Dangerous Oil Pipeline”!
