PETITION: Sign to Keep Tree Swallows in Our Skies

Tree swallow

Tree swallow populations are declining, due to threats like climate change, the loss of trees they need for nesting, and exposure to high levels of pesticides and other contaminants such as PCBs.

The Senate only has until the end of the year to vote on and pass the Recovering America’s Wildlife Act—historic legislation which will provide proactive, local conservation action for wildlife in trouble. The Recovering America’s Wildlife Act, when passed, will catalyze collaborative, on-the-ground habitat restoration projects, help with species reintroductions, and boost other much needed conservation efforts.

Add your signature to our petition urging the Senate to act now to pass the Recovering America’s Wildlife Act before the end of the year and help keep tree swallows in our skies.

After submitting this form, you'll start receiving wildlife updates from the National Wildlife Federation Action Fund.
