Our wild public lands must be carefully protected and managed so they can provide habitat for wildlife and be enjoyed by all of us — whether we are hikers, anglers, backpackers, birdwatchers, ranchers, or people who just love nature. Unfortunately, William Perry Pendley believes these lands should be exploited for one purpose: to line the pockets of oil and gas developers. He’s even argued that public lands shouldn’t exist.
Please tell your senators that William Perry Pendley has no business leading the Bureau of Land Management. If he wasn’t good enough to be the nominee, he’s not good enough to serve in a “temporary” capacity. It’s time for him to be relieved of his duties.
