10 Years After the Worst Marine Oil Spill in History, Wildlife Still Need Help

Ten years ago, the Deepwater Horizon oil spill—the largest in U.S. history—devastated wildlife along the Gulf coast. The spill has pushed species like the Bryde’s whale closer to extinction.

But the Trump Administration is continuing to put wildlife at risk, by weakening drilling safety regulations and by directing oil rig regulators to complete fewer inspections and levy fewer fines. Without accountability, we could very well see another oil spill disaster off our coasts.

Tell the Department of Interior to protect the Gulf and it’s wildlife by reinstating robust drilling safety and accountability measures!

Your message will be delivered to Secretary David Bernhardt.
