Take Action for Arctic Caribou, Wild Sheep, and Indigenous Communities

Our federal government is taking the first step to allow hard rock open-pit mining just outside Gates of the Arctic National Park and Preserve in Alaska—a wild and undisturbed home to herds of caribou, Dall sheep, countless bird species, and a critical source of sustenance for local Indigenous communities.

The proposed Arctic Mine Development Project would require expansive roads and development, made worse by the impacts from heavy industrial-scale mining operations, traffic, aircraft, and noise that will disrupt and harm water, wildlife, and local communities.

Send a message opposing mining in this pristine Alaska wilderness and urge the federal government to safeguard Arctic wildlife and Indigenous communities from mining.
